Gail Bartholomew is the Global Insurance Manager for Nouryon. Based in Chicago, Gail is responsible for the insurance and risk management of Nouryon's global operations. Nouryon is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, spun off from AkzoNobel in 2018. While not a household name, there are very few households in the US that dont have a component of Nouryon somewhere within. Gail is also engaged on a daily basis in all due diligence activities, including business contract review and M&A activities. Gail began with AkzoNobel as Senior Risk Management Coordinator in 2001, and in 2005 left to accept the role of Underwriting Director with CNA where she managed a property and casualty portfolio of architect and engineering clients. In 2008 she returned to AkzoNobel as Risk Manager and moved to her current role with the Nouryon divestiture in 2018. In addition to the RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) designation, Gail has the CRM, CIC and CISR designations from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
